Warrior Brothers

Carlos Jackson is a California Native American who is marooned on a primitive planet 50 light years from Earth with his teenage son Cody. They have no hope of rescue. Cody and his buddy Tobin laughingly let itinerant monks anoint them as the reincarnations of mythical ancient warriors, but the joke turns sour when Tobin is abducted from the planet. Rescuing him means treading a treacherous path between myth and reality, with an opportunity they can't imagine waiting for them at the end - if they survive. The book's preface contains historical information about California's Coast Miwok and Kashaya-Pomo Indian tribes.
