Lydia (Hamby) Dykes was born in Harlan County, Kentucky. As a child growing up in the small town of Evarts, Lydia enjoyed visiting the residents and businesses daily. In this book, Lydia takes you back to the 1960s to revisit the people who were once part of the town. The reader will recognize many names and places and be taken over by memories.
