Thomas the T. rex

Thomas the T. rex is based on the true story of discovery of one of the ten most complete T. rex skeletons in the world. As part of the Junior Scientist program of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, Thomas and Rita tell the story of the T. rex's journey from fossil discovery to excavation to final preparation for Thomas's public display in the museum s Dinosaur Hall, opened July 2011.
