Tools that relocate themselves. Shadows glimpsed from the corner of one's eye. The feeling of being watched when no one's there. It's all in a day's work for the crew renovating Bayview Manor, a dilapidated mansion overlooking the Pacific Ocean on the Olympic Peninsula. Rachael Payne is delighted to be involved in renovating the Manor, and it doesn't hurt that the new owner, Geoffrey Windsor, is exciting in his own right. It doesn't bother her that the mansion's dark history is shrouded in rumor and legend, because she doesn't believe in ghosts. Geoffrey doesn't share her enthusiasm for his house. From its mysterious origins to the strange current events, he's certain something walks in Bayview Manor, unseen by the human eye.
