Halcyon and the Four Double Dream

Even before nothing but the passage of time filled the void, the fate of man had already been written. Before a mud covered rock orbiting a single star was created that would become his home, supernatural forces beyond man's comprehension began wrestling for control. Standing between man's inevitable future is Father Thaddeus Halcyon, an agent of the Vatican's Holy See, who once upon a time was a simple farmer and went by the name Lazarus of Bethany. For more than 2000 years, Halcyon has used his skills honed to a razor's edge battling the Day Star's minions to keep his promise to his friend that raised him from the dead. The promise he made so long ago was to keep the devil and his kind in their cage until the apocalypse. The end date of man's reign on Earth is unknown to Halcyon so he soldiers forth only knowing that as long has he exists man is not lost. However, as the world has grown and become more complicated so has the evil working against him. Lucifer the Day Star is the master of half-truths and commands a legion of demons that toil relentlessly to break the seals that bind him. With the help of his newly anointed apprentice, Hunter Musgrave, Halcyon pursues the seed of the Day Star's first lieutenant, Confectororis, that grows in the womb of an unsuspecting woman. Unlike his adversaries before, Confectororis' human guardian, Raith Drenor knows what Halcyon is and how to kill him. This time the Day Star may succeed in releasing into the world a demon with the power to extricate him from his prison and begin the End of Days.
