While John is on a business trip 2000 miles from home, the country is rocked by a series of devastating earthquakes of near apocalyptic proportion.

Now  our hero is stranded with no easy way to make it back to his loving family in need. His attempt to get home has him battling for survival against the flow of refugees fleeing the disaster area and encounters many perilous--and sometimes deadly--trials along the way.
