The Art of Deception

History tells us one of the largest diamonds ever found, ‘The Great Mogul,’ was discovered in India in 1650, but subsequently disappeared. History also records Germany’s most infamous dictator was obsessed with establishing his Austrian birthplace as the European centre of art and culture. As the crowning piece for ‘Project Linz,’ Adolf Hitler ordered the diamond found, triggering a tale of love, daring and deception involving the ‘Special Operations Executive.’ Leaving a trail of murder and broken hearts, the narrative moves to the post-war years in North London, and the arrival of an unexpected visitor.
