Science fiction novel about T'Shar of Vulcan, a granddaughter of Spock.At the time unbeknownst to Spock, while in a dangerous state of physical transition on the planet Genesis, during his first Pon-Farr, Spock impregnates his future wife Saavik who at that time chose not to inform him of the pregnancy but instead secretly gives birth to Spock's illegitimate daughter who was named Mora. To save his family embarrassment, Young Mora was secretly given up to a family living in a city on the far side of Vulcan by the high priestess T'Lar. She would never know her true parents Spock and Saavik.At the age of seven young Mora was Betroth to a seven year old Vulcan boy who she grew up to Marry and give birth to her own child, a beautiful young Vulcan baby girl who was named T'Shar. After the tragic deaths of Mora and her husband on a science adventure, a young 12 year old T'Shar was forced to grow up all alone on a primitive and hostile planet.
