Chairman Michaud, Ranking Member Brown, and distinguished Members of the Subcommittee, thank you for this opportunity to present the President's fiscal year 2011 budget and fiscal year 2012 advanced appropriation requests for the Veterans Health Administration. Our budget provides resources necessary to continue our aggressive pursuit of the President's two overarching goals, to transform VA into a 21st century organization and to ensure that we provide the highest quality of health care to our deserving veterans.
