Of Questionable Authenticity: Apocrypha of the Bible

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Apocrypha means, in it's literal translation, items or information that have been hidden away. As relates to the Bible, apocrypha pertains to those biblical writings in which the author or authenticity have not been substantiated. This book explores the apocrypha of the Jewish Old Testament, those of the Old Testament in the King James Version of the Christian Bible and those of the Christian New Testament. Also included are falsely attributed works known as pseudepigraph and discussion on antilegomena which are universally accepted writings which have not necessarily been legitimized.

Project Webster represents a new publishing paradigm, allowing disparate content sources to be curated into cohesive, relevant, and informative books. To date, this content has been curated from Wikipedia articles and images under Creative Commons licensing, although as Project Webster continues to increase in scope and dimension, more licensed and public domain content is being added. We believe books such as this represent a new and exciting lexicon in the sharing of human knowledge.
