Left-handed people were stigmatized for years in many cultures while other cultures held positive associations with left-handedness. Today, being a "lefty" has lost most of its positive or negative connotations in society as a whole, although studies examine the connection between let-handedness and proficiencies in certain disciplines. This book presents the lives and accomplishments of over twenty famous lefties throughout history from politicians to artists and musicians to athletes.
