Description
Hephaestus Books represents a new publishing paradigm, allowing disparate content sources to be curated into cohesive, relevant, and informative books. To date, this content has been curated from Wikipedia articles and images under Creative Commons licensing, although as Hephaestus Books continues to increase in scope and dimension, more licensed and public domain content is being added. We believe books such as this represent a new and exciting lexicon in the sharing of human knowledge. This particular book contains chapters focused on Ulster Volunteer Force, Shankill Butchers, and Ulster Volunteer Force members.
More info: The Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) is a loyalist paramilitary group in Northern Ireland. The current incarnation was formed in May 1966 and named after the Ulster Volunteers of 1912, although there is no direct link between the two. The group undertook an armed campaign of almost thirty years during "The Troubles". It declared a ceasefire in 1994, although sporadic attacks continued until it officially ended its armed campaign in May 2007.
