My Stories

Janice Anderson started writing in high school and never stopped. "I would like to see more of your writing, if I may," said a teacher in 1936. In her memoir, "My Stories," we are lucky to see more of her charming, straightforward writing: Stories of growing up in the Northeast, raising a family in Florida and acting on the stage in California. Along the way, she learned to fly, and she dealt with an unbearable tragedy.
