Gertrude W. Morrison was a house pseudonym used by the Stratemeyer Syndicate. Titles published under this pseudonym include: The Girls of Central High (1914), The Girls of Central High on Lake Luna (1914), The Girls of Central High at Basketball (1914), The Girls of Central High on the Stage (1914), The Girls of Central High on Track and Field (1914), The Girls of Central High in Camp (1915) and The Girls of Central High Aiding the Red Cross (1919). The Stratemeyer Syndicate was the producer of a number of series for children and adults including the Nancy Drew mysteries, the Hardy Boys, the various Tom Swift series, the Bobbsey Twins and others.
