Sir Ralph Bignell Ainsworth (1875- 1952) was a British Major General. He joined the Royal Navy as a surgeon in 1900, transferred to the Royal Army Medical Corps in 1902, became Special Sanitary Officer, 6 Div, Poona, India in 1908, served in World War I in France (1914), and North Russia (1919) and retired in 1935.
