Wolfe's Burrow

Injured while on a hunting trip, John Wolfe watches helplessly as World War III comes and goes. Forever affected by pseudo-rabies, a biological agent used by the enemy to kill or neutralize the human population, he finally makes it home - only to find his family dead and the world gone mad. A former Marine, he begins organizing survivors to take on this world of feral animals and feral men, constantly driven to help those in trouble so that he might in some way compensate for his failure to save his family when they needed him most. As the community grows and he adopts a daughter, Wolfe begins to heal. But then comes the greatest challenge of all: the General, a would-be dictator who grinds all who oppose him beneath the iron heel of tyranny. Can even Wolfe hope to stand against this self-appointed military "genius" and his horde of thugs?
