Hematology/Oncology Clinics of North America: Radiation Medicine Update for the Practicing Oncologist, Part II

Radiation medicine has evolved on several fronts over the past decade and is a useful adjunct in the definitive, adjunctive, and palliative therapy for several solid and hematologic malignancies. This issue coupled with Part I publishing in February 2006 should "de-mystify'"and update the practicing oncologists on how best to incorporate the radiation medicine team into the evaluation and management of patients. In this issue the focus is on radiation of specific anatomy and on specific types of cancers.
