A senile former major leaguer, conjoined twins, a journeyman jazz musician, and a big-hearted social worker are individually of no value in an America governed by consumerism. But using the scrapbook remnants of their lives they are able to combine their aggregate worth to finance a tribe strong enough to bring down the government.
