City Girl

“City Girl” is a biographical account of a girl who grew up in the Red Hook Projects in Brooklyn, New York. Driven by a domineering mother, she completed college and embarked on a career. Although very successful in her chosen field and having excelled to mid-level management, she had been faced with a continuous, uphill battle against harassment, sexism and discrimination. This book depicts her struggle against adversity in her personal and professional life. The added personal struggle of her battle with hospitals and physicians in New York City, to save her mother’s life.
