Emergent Writer's Workshop

Thrill children with the knowledge that they are writers@ Help them learn to write their thoughts with pictures and words that can be shared with others. When writing/sharing ideas becomes an end goal, children are eager to listen to stories, sing songs, share prior knowledge, learn new vocabulary, and complete art projects. Then they are ready to draw/write their own stories and create Mini Books. Learning is fun! Topics: fall, about me, apples, community helpers, the moon, winter, friends, bears, stars, spring, farm animals, insects, plants, weather, summer, pets, dinosaurs, sea animals.
