Description
Joyce Carter was born in Syracuse, New York, in 1952. After graduating from SUNY at Stony Brook, she moved to Baltimore where she earned her certification as an x-ray technician. In 1981, she returned to New York and married. After fifteen years of struggling to build a strong marriage she was thrown into a deep depression caused by a double betrayal, compounded by the death of both parents. Through it all she clung to the spark of faith, determined to rebuild her life. Being a trained scientist she knew that if the facts don't fit the theory it's time to change the theory starting at the most basic level. This book is the result of her investigation into the basic words used by the Christian. It examines the basic meanings of many commonly used words which are often and easily misunderstood. People are attempting to build their lives and behavior patterns after the model of Christ, yet, because they misunderstand the basic concepts they are living lives filled with pain, confusion and discouragement. By relearning the correct concepts and meanings of the most commonly used words, people can build more complete, abundant lives. They will have a spark of light which will enable them to build and maintain the fire they desire in their lives.
