Forged by Fire

A murderer strikes in the city of Hole. The Eastern Empire closes its borders to catch the criminal before he escapes into the neighboring Western Empire. However, a strange battle erupts at the border gates on Hart’s Bridge, implicating King Oenin of sending his soldiers to attack the Western Empire. An uprising starts in Hole as the citizens become restless. King Oenin sends Kender, a high ranking officer in the Imperial Army, to quell the uprising and maintain peace between the two empires. Kender accepts the assignment with pure intent, but what he uncovers in the process could destroy his country. Meanwhile, a murderous plot ensues in the Elven Isles. Someone is trying to unleash an old evil. Cedric, a half-elf by birth, teams up with an unlikely hero to stop the unknown assassin before it is too late, for the fate of the entire realm hangs in the balance.
