The Zia Protocols

A college kid designs a machine to clear radio transmissions. The CIA used the machine to decipher Taliban communications. As the work progresses, they uncover nuclear plans to build a bomb in the United States. It is a race against time, for the scientists bend in destroying America, the CIA trying to stop them, and to bury the story no matter the cost.
