Caught in the Crossfire: Of Feuding Parents

I was the pawn in a game my parent played. Who would win? Certainly not me. Why do children have to suffer their parent's bad choices? They eventually move on but the children are left with the pain and anguish of their parent's mistakes. I am one of those children. I didn't have a voice as a child, I am an adult and I have one now. Born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1961. I was the second of 5 girls. Attended college in Tulsa, Oklahoma where I met my first husband. That marriage lasted 26 years and we had two children. I am a newlywed and have a wonderful husband whom I love and adore.
