The Staggering Seventies

The 1970's arrives in 'Lapley Vale' accompanied by great rejoicing and joy occasionally shaded by some heartfelt sorrow and sadness. Four delightful bouncing Babies are born in what can only be described as breath taking circumstances. Two tragic sudden deaths reveal many astonishing facts. Long kept secrets gradually unravel with stunning consequences. Natural, unspoilt, humour will provide the Readers with large doses of amusement and laughter from start to finish. The unusual reactions of some of the Locals in the face of ongoing, radical, social change help to provide a perfect platform for sweeping aside any of the Readers personal cares or woes. Perhaps they might agree that although some response to 'The Swinging Sixties' is more apparent the vast majority of the Citizens of 'Lapley Vale' , true to form, are merely 'Staggering' into the 1970's after quite happily 'Swaying' through the now legendary 1960's.
