Protecting Structures In The Wildland/Urban Interface: Instructors Guide

This guide is to be used by instructors to teach an eight hour course of structure protection in the wildland/urban interface. Students will be taught the following: recognize conflagration potential of the initial attack fire situation; . identify structures that have a high potential for loss; reduce loss of life and prevent injuries; and Recognize wildland fire behavior characteristics and fire control procedures. This guide is to be used with the Student Workbook and DVD that either are or will be available here under the same title.
