Hardy's Anglers Guide Season 1921 Reprint: Complete Reprint With Forward By Ross Bolton

A complete reproduction of the catalog issued for the 1921 season by Hardy Brothers LTD of Alnwick, England with a new introduction by Ross Bolton. This 1921 catalog is special in many ways. It is one of the last catalogs before John James retired in 1922. It also featured the Princess Mary Rod and one of the last mentions of the Sir Edward Grey Perfection. For reels it meant the last year of the Coquet Sea Reel, the introduction of the 1922 U.S.A. reel, the introduction of the 1922 Longstone reel, and the only year featuring the Silex with compression drag. The color plates originally published inside the catalog are reproduced in grayscale inside at full size and in color on the back cover at a reduced size.
