Take a Walk in My Shoes

Take a Walk in My Shoes is a touching story of a loving mother who goes through so much pain, fear, hate, and guilt all these she feels and tries to battle when two of her sons pass away.

After losing her seventeen-year-old son, Robert, who is robbed and killed, Cynthia's life takes a different turn. She starts being drug dependent, which results in addiction. Likewise, her remaining children, Julie and Michael, also go through a shattered life, becoming lost addicts without their mother's love. Cynthia becomes confused with her spiritual beliefs and hates her family for being the one to experience losing her own child. After being locked up in the fifth floor of a rehabilitation center and receiving wisdom from New Age books, which open her mind to the truth about spirits and God, she finds peace and acceptance but only temporarily. When Michael, her twenty-eight-year-old son, takes his own life by overdosing on drugs, Cynthia plots for her own death and gets her family involved in her attempted suicide.

Living on Earth is about fulfilling one's own soul s journey. Every experience, whether it be sacrifice or happiness, is all part of the greater plan of our creator. We should make our lives worthwhile before we come home to our Lord.
