Mayin

Mayin is a fictional story of the travails of a woman striving to find herself. A third-generation Anglo-Indian, Mayin leads a life living the dreams and desires of everybody else but her own. Lonely, troubled, and carrying deep scars from simple slights, coping with confusion and depression through flight, fantasy and delusion, Mayin is neither able to understand life nor herself. She goes through the trauma of broken relationships, confrontations and extreme need, accepts her sexuality and passionate nature, breaks free from the shackles of illusion, and savors life, eventually experiencing the joy of being a "life-giver".
