New England Uechiryu Karate

The year 2007, was an exciting year for Uechiryu! While our rich fundamentals and traditions were preserved, growth and innovation took place. More Uechi practitioners were promoted to various black belt ranks then ever before in the history of Uechiryu! Now more than ever, a greater number of children and teens are reaping the benefits of Uechi-style training. The adult programs have never been stronger. Also, an increasing number of students are participating in S.T.O.R.M. and assistant instructor's training courses. The practice and study of Uechiryu has been making people stronger for decades. Our style attracts and develops outstanding people! Through this magazine, I intend to highlight many of the remarkable people and events of this style's past and present. In addition, I will attempt to show what the future may hold.
