A complete reproduction of the 1918 Sears Justice Tires and Tubes Automobile Supplies catalog with a new introduction by Ross Bolton. As things became even too large for Sears, Roebuck and Co "Big Book" to hold, or maybe they got tired of supplying the outhouse with paper, Sears began to offer supplements for specialty items like medicines, houses, cemetery stones, and cars. This is one of those specialty books covering tires, spark plugs, radiators, belts and more. Choked full of automobile part drawings and Ford specialty items, it gives today's enthusiasts a look at what their missing part should look like. Justice tires became Allstate tires and tubes. Both brands were manufactured for Sears. Since Sears could deliver "on demand" (later termed "just in time" delivery), they delivered to Ford factories churning out Model T's in the same assembly line fashion. Not only does this catalog feature wrenches and lamps, it also shows what people were wearing in the day.
