The Shaky Fist Of Funk Ninja

Funk Ninja is a "free agent of dubious enterprise" and a martial warrior without equal. He is also an alcoholic and addicted to hard drugs, wasting every second of his life pursuing any conceivable vice with no depth of depravity too low for him to sink. When Moofin, a prize-winning Pomeranian, gets kidnapped, Funk Ninja is hired to bring him back. Blowing his cash advance on candy and narcotics, he spends his hours until action administering vigilante justice, singing karaoke to empty dive bars and grappling to maintain his sanity inside a manic-depressive mind that is slowly losing the battle to chemical dementia and the suppression of a past too painful to face. A slapstick series of gritty vignettes, Funk Ninja keeps the story sardonically unfolding with arrogance and eloquence, poetically capturing his boastful virtue while uncovering, then re-suppressing the missing pieces of his hazy origin; bobbing for ripe apples inside a rotten head for any excuse not to kill himself.
