Libby's Ashes

What does a devout Catholic nun, an aspiring young actress, a university student with a paralyzing fear of heights, a sixty-five year old CEO forced into retirement, and a ninety-one year old farmer with the task of carrying out his departed wife's last wishes, have in common? Nothing. Until the five unlikely strangers are brought together for a hot air balloon excursion following a raffle by a local radio station. Their balloon flight goes awry during a sudden thunderstorm, and their adventure begins when the group is left suspended in the balloon's gondola from the top of an ancient fir tree, with the Sister injured, in the middle of an old growth wilderness set afire by lightning.
