According to the World Health Organization, overeating poor quality food is the fastest form of malnourishment in the world today. As a result, most of us are over-weight and some are chronically diseased. In our land of plentiful food, most of what we eat is highly processed unnatural food with all sorts of chemical additives. The industrial food complex is more concerned with their bottom line than our "bottom". Adding to the problem, is a healthcare system that is designed to treat, not to prevent disease. If maintaining youthful vitality into old age is a goal, than we must take responsibility for our own health and understand what we eat and why we eat certain foods. This will help insure a healthy life and increase our chances of living to 100.
