A Short Introduction To Secularism

There is a very large anachronism in our post-Enlightened society. It is called religion; and it is stronger than ever. Religion and 'new age' thought are the most prominent enemies of scientific and social progress. This backwards thinking is present regardless of race, age or intelligence. This backwards thinking is the result of a worldwide epidemic of mental illness, brewed out of our underlying instinct of selfishness. This book highlights the importance secularism as we strive for ultimate truth, and would be a useful asset to the mind of both the believer and nonbeliever alike.
