Rescue, Recovery and Resilience: True Stories from the Turtle Hospital

The Turtle Hospital in the Florida Keys is unique. It is one of the only marine facilities in the world devoted exclusively to the rescue, recovery and release of sea turtles. This book tells the personal stories of endangered turtles who represent their species. More important, it explains why sea turtles are threatened with extinction and suggests ways in which the reader can help to save them. All proceeds from this book go directly to the Turtle Hospital and are used for the care and treatment of the turtles.
