Description
Junior High at Age Seventy-Five is a humorous comparison of what it was like to be a senior citizen volunteer in sixth, seventh and eighth grade classes of a modern-day junior high school. The only similarities between the 1940s and today is the dedication of the teachers and of course the students that get caught doing something wrong. Dogs are still eating homework; and with a contrived look of innocence they still ask, "What did I do?" A major difference, however, is the advanced curriculum; every student is computer knowledgeable, the use of calculators and the ISAT demands on the student. I found the experience to be informative and enlightening. I firmly believe that our future is in good hands.
