This is not a history of the Mississ ippi delta but the autobiography of mu life as I remember it and as it has been told to me by my father, mother, and many friends from the past and present. I have tried to be truthful ,honest, and as clear as i could remember. My experiences growing up in the country; the flood of 1927; the great depession of the thirties; my school years ; my first marriage; my service in the Air Corp in World War II; thirty eight years in the food business;twenty years as Realtor and Certified appraiser; Mayor of Indianola ,Mississippi for eight years; My second marriage and then my retirement in 2007.
