Mermaids in the Fish-Tank: (and Other Things that Should Fit, but Just... Don't)

Inspired by the creations of J.M. Barrie-- the mastermind behind Peter Pan and his home, the Neverland-- "Mermaids in the Fish-Tank" begins with a special event in the life of a young married couple from Pueblo, Colorado: the birth of their first child. Javin and Alica Zenith know that from this day forward, nothing will ever be the same for them; what they are unaware of, for the moment, is how many other lives their baby girl will change. For on the very day of her birth, a great phenomenon has taken place in the Otheruniverse of imaginary worlds, and every child who dreams of Neverland will feel its effects--especially newborn Breyetta Zenith. Coincidentally, Javin's younger brother Jakib gives his niece the nickname "Breeze" to capture his hopes that she will bring a wind of change to the sorrowful lives of those around her. And true to Jakib's words, on the first night little Breeze spends in the world, a gust of wind will come and knock quite a few things out of place. But the odds of it all ending up right where it should be-- are they too microscopic even to consider? Hoping for the best, the Zenith family is about to find out.
