The Diary of a Wrinkle

Isla Lawson has just discovered a deep, ugly, and crooked wrinkle stretched across her forehead, and further investigation reveals her greatest fear--that much detested above the lip wrinkle. She's too young to look old! The Dairy of a Wrinkle chronicles the life of a forty something single woman who is going through a mid-life crisis.   She is surrounded by wrinkle-free people, all of whom are obsessed with self improvement which focuses solely on their appearance.   In a desperate attempt to escape "plastic surgery hell," Isla pours her emotions into a diary which slowly becomes her vehicle into the past; she rediscovers people and experiences that have enriched her life.   Her dual quest for finding happiness within herself and finding a man are a parallel thread in her diary.   We are held captive to Isla's ongoing dilemma, to either succumb to chasing after her youthful appearance, or choosing to age with grace, and yet, finding a man willing to love her just the way she is.
