Dark Side Of Dawn is a revelation of some intimacies and events of the days of slavery, which have been forgotten or have never been told in writing. The action begins with the arrival of Colonel Charles Strang from England, and of his wife, dona Catrina, from Spain. The plot develops with their interaction and conflicts with their slaves and other slave owners. Dark Side Of Dawn is a fiction of cruelties, cultures, plantocratic life- style,bad days and good days, African magic and rituals,romance and some insights of the Emancipation struggle.
