Fade To Grey

When his daughter is brutally murdered by the leaders of a quasi-religious cult, respected journalist Roger Dawson employs all of his considerable resources to bring the killers to justice. But layers of lawyers, phony corporations, and 'freedom of religion' guarantees, allow the guilty to go unpunished. When Dawson learns that these same individuals are running prostitution and drug rings in several western states and abusing women for their own profit and pleasure, he has reached his limit. He contacts a friend from the drug wars on the Colombian cartels a few years back and calls in a favor. He reaches out for his new definition of justice. It will be a journey away from his own personal standards, his professional ethics, and a world far removed from the the black and white distinctions of 'right' and 'wrong.' This journey will take him into the shadow world where grey is the dominant environment. It will take him into a world of political intrigue, organized crime, blackmail, and assassination.
