Freeing the Heart

This book of poems is about freeing our heart-our poetic voice-from all the things in the world that conspire to keep it in bondage: fear, loneliness, despair, loss, unbearable grief and heartache. This collection is not only to celebrate and honor the incredible life and music of Michael Jackson. It is also a reviving of the creative spirit that calls all of us to make our world anew. My wish for all who read these poems: may you experience a re-awakening of your forgotten dreams and the joy that comes from freeing the heart.
