Jazz of the Spirit: Freedom

As we find ourselves at the end of the first decade of the 21st century, the world is embroiled in war, economic turmoil, and social uncertainty. Labor precedes all new life! Thus, we need to understand the nature of this labor for us to move from chaos to order. Freedom is the theme for this book. Yehudi Menuhin advises, "Music creates order out of chaos; for rhythm imposes unanimity upon the divergent, melody imposes continuity upon the disjointed, and harmony imposes compatibility upon the incongruous." Freedom is the rhythm response to the times we live in, both in our personal lives as well as in the world at large. It is our personal anxieties that influence the global mood.
