Iron Magus

A giant magician named George Berkeley, an exotic woman who calls herself Akuji, and a naïve farm boy named Jimmy meet one day in a small town and join together to produce the most amazing magic act ever seen. Jimmy names the act the Iron Magus and as they travel across the county their fame spreads when no one can figure out how George performs his astonishing tricks. The problem is-neither can Jimmy. Soon Jimmy falls into a relationship with the magician's assistant Akuji, who proves to have her own unfathomable and unbelievable secrets. The magic act's success continues all the way to Las Vegas and the trio is at the peak of fame and fortune when all the secrets begin to unravel. What is exposed is a reality more astounding than any magic and Jimmy is forced to confront things he never expected. Iron Magus is a story of discovery, of greed, and of love and loss and more love as our hero Jimmy becomes a man under the most difficult circumstances imaginable.
