This is a love story, unlike one ever told. It's about young man named Hajji, who loved his family unconditionally so much, until he was willing to venture into the belly of the Beast to protect and support his love ones, no matter what! Hajji suffered through loss after loss, from abandonment to death, while growing up on the mean streets of Newark, New Jersey. When Hajji was born, his parents were devoted to God. His father was a close confidante of a Prominent Black leader and after the leaders Brutal Assassination; Hajji's father abandoned his family to protect them. Hajji was a young boy at the time but he was old enough to know that life without his father, whom he loved very much, wasn't going to be easy. As a matter of fact, when his mother's will to survive ran her into the arms of men who were wolves in sheep's clothing, abusing her mentally and physically, Hajji swore by God that he would do whatever he had to do to protect his mother and siblings from the evils that men do; and whoever harmed his family, would Pay! As teenagers, Hajji and best friend Tony, grew up on the mean streets of Newark "The Brick City" New Jersey, remaining partners for life. However, the two were very different, in that Hajji never sold or used drugs, drank alcohol, gambled or smoked cigarettes, while Tony indulged in various vices. Tony's indulgence landed him in prison early which left Hajji to rise through the ranks on the streets in the life of crime, alone. Hajji earned respect on the streets with those who controlled the city, which let to the "FEDS", who came looking for him. But when Death came knocking, Hajji had to protect his family and to do that, he had to do whatever it took. Love, Family, Redemption, Revenge
