Under the Same Sky is a passionate story of a girl and boy, whose lives are intertwined by their unconditional love for each other, but are continually kept apart by external circumstances. Olivia Atwell was born and raised in a quaint but prestigious town called Newburyport, MA. Her childhood is dull and mundane due to her absent parents until she meets Emmett Stanton, a male neighbor of the same age. Olivia and Emmett become best friends at the age of five, and together their friendship endures childhood, adolescence, and the college years. After Olivia graduates college, she journeys to Haiti to assist in a shelter. While Olivia's aspirations are selfless, Emmett's objectives in life are aimed at climbing the political ladder. After a twist in fate, these childhood friends' lives change forever, and both of them learn a lesson of a lifetime.
