Melissa Montreaux is a 26 year old model who has a dream of one day becoming a supermodel but has spent more time the last few years working in a strip bar than in the fashion business modeling clothes. It is her dream of success and the reality of her failure that haunts and will ultimately destroy her. SLEUTH: Rudy Pappas, private detective and former cop, is hired by a shady character to provide protection for his girlfriend, but by the time he reaches the home of Melissa Montreaux she has been murdered. Rudy has been set up and he doesn't know why. His search for answers leads him to the two main suspects, a wiseguy, Frankie Funny, and his Mob boss, Benny Cabroni. FLATFOOT: Detective Katherine Bellini continues the investigation. She discovers there is more to this Melissa than meets the eye and at the same time discovers that she is not quite the person or the detective she considers herself to be. PUNK: Frankie Funny comes from a family of broken hearts and broken heads. His mind and mouth never stop nattering as we follow his escapades with and without the only woman in the world he has ever loved. GANGSTER: Benny Cabroni is a man of business who becomes sidetracked from his world of business by a beautiful mistress and is not quite sure how to go about getting his life back. DREAMER: Melissa Montreaux has the opportunity to say farewell to this world and why she just might be thankful that she no longer has to "suffer its endless moments."
