Shudder of Thought: A Novel

Alex, an aging architect on the downslope of his career, is struggling with his idealistic young son's desire to join the practice and the lure of a major commission dangled by a developer of questionable character - Alex's estranged son from his first marriage. Torn by the faith of his younger son and the material success offered by the elder son, Alex is at the same time haunted by a homeless man whose rantings may or may not hold a revelation that could salvage Alex's faith. As the pressure mounts, Alex finds himself faced with an unthinkable task, one that if executed may result in his redemption.
