'A Working Man's Haiku' is designed to read smoothly for the modern reader and the intent is to weave the fabric of a story into it and still have each haiku stand loudly and strongly alone. Enjoy it for what it is. It is almost a novel about living and working in the Pacific Northwest written entirely in haiku.
